I’m very sad to hear about the passing of my lifetime friend Lucinda Whiddon.
She and I go all the way back to nursery school and had many encounters through our young lives. Attending elementary school and Started St. Edwards school with a few other good friends. We battled but cared for each other. Lots of stories can be told.
I’ve not not seen her since our 20th high school reunion, but we were Facebook friends.
God bless her and her family!❤️

I might have you beat Calvin. I guess you could say I have known Lucy since birth. Both born on 8/30/1952 at Fort Pierce Memorial Hospital. Our mother's were in the same room and I was delivered about a minute before her. We kept in touch for the longest time but as she became more ill the messages became further apart. It's been a few years. RIP Lucy. See you on the other side.

Lucinda and I were babies together. Birthdays, summers, vacations. We were always sharing chunks of our lives. In high school, we'd take her dad's station wagon loaded with kids and travel all around the Palm Beach area cheering our hapless Eagles, always hoping for a win. 🧐. When I was at UGA, she was in school in Atlanta. We would meet up at her family's summer house in Blue Ridge and hang out on long weekends. We had made some crazy memories there when we were in high school. She was in my first wedding.  She and Joe went to our 20th class reunion with Fred and me. I had a hard time talking her into it. But she was glad she went. I know her children Josh and Evie were the light of her life, as well as Joe. I haven't seen her since their family moved to Ft Myers. But we spoke fairly often.  If you didn't know her lately, you might not know how deep her Faith in our Redeemer was. She prayed with me often after Clay died. Lucinda was my Forever Friend.  I loved her, and I will miss her.

Lucinda and I were neighbors when very young. When our house burned down we took refuge over there that night. My sisters and I would always "steal" her surrey and return it that evening. We all had fun building forts and playing together after school. Been out of touch for a while but she was still in my thoughts. So sorry to hear this
