Well I guess we're not going to have that cup of coffee we've been talking about for "years," much less getting together for dinner some weekend.  Have to say, the wife and I were shocked to say the least when we heard that you had passed.  Since then, I have thought back to the much better times when we worked at the PD together, the firing range competition and of course when we lived together as "bachelors."  I guess the good lord needed another good officer to watch the gate for him.  Rest In Peace my friend.

Good to see you Verryl! I think the last time I saw you was at Lincoln Park and you had my daughter Tamara in one of your classes, 25 years go I believe?

Jimmy - you were a really good guy, a great Dad and a really good cop.  While others may not understand, in LE circles "good cop" is the highest compliment.  

Thanks for the call on your way down, Im glad we had that chance to chat.
