Danny, I'll see you there.  I am so sorry to lose you before the reunion.  I know you were planning on coming.  I just found out that you and I were both at the Million Man March in Washington DC in 1995.  I do wish we could have met up there.  You were a great friend and I doubt if you left one singe enemy behind.  I love you brother and will miss you more than I can put into words.

Your Brother in Christ

Richard

I am deeply sorry for the loss of one of our fighting Eagles & a classmate. Danny aged well. In my nursing career in the ER we had many a patient brought in in Cardiac Arrest after mowing the yard, doing yard work or jogging to name a few.

I am deeply sorry for the family of this fine man & I pray they find comfort with all of the wonderful memories they have of Danny.

This absolutely breaks my heart.  Danny and I had reconnected via Facebook after so many years.  It was such a joy to see him dote on his grandkids and follow him.

Pam is absolutely correct, we've come to that age where mowing the lawn is more stressful than you realized.  Although anecodotal, when I was with the Medicak Examiners office, we saw an inordinately high number of males come in that were mowing the yard, above age 55.

Yeah yeah yeah, I know we're tough.  But.

RIP dear friend, see you on the other side.

Al

I am so very sad to hear about Dan's passing.  Our friendship began long before High School.  We were friends in Elementary school too!  I guess you might say we were "life long" friends.  His kindness to everyone was a gift.

I will always remember when my oldest son was born(1972) and Dan was visiting us at my In-laws house.  The baby was fussy so Dan picked him up from his bed and walked him until he calmed down and went to sleep.  This was just the kind of thoughtful person he was.

The Eagles have lost one of their best!

Dan, you will be sorely missed.  You were always a friend to me and many others.  I don't ever remember a cross word or any anger from you towards anyone.  I wish I had made the trip to play golf with you last year, but was unable due to injuries.  This makes me so sad to think I had the chance of seeing you once more and telling you how much you meant to me.  You, like so many other of our classmates has made my life so much easier and it tears me up to see more and more of my friends pass on.  Dan, I know you were a great father, husband, grandfather and every other relative you could be.  Your family will miss you as I will.  May God Bless your Family and protect them and guide them through this terrible time.  My wish is that you have a quick passage into Heaven as that is where you will be.  Hopefully, someday I will meet up with you again and we can share a laugh again.  Be well my friend.  I will miss you very much.

I was so sad to hear that Danny had passed. We played a lot of baseball together and he was a great teammate and and exceptional athelete. We had just gotten back in touch a year or so back, and I looked forward to meeting him at a reunion in the future. Now the opportunity has gone. I will miss him. My sincerest condolances to him family.
