Only child to Ms. Frances Boyd. She had attended boarding schools prior to attending DMHS her junior and senior years. She was the first of our classmates to leave us, only days after graduation. It was not what she had planned. She had planned to go to college, get married and raise children but God made other plans.

What I recall about "Boobie" was that she had such a wonderful and infectious smile. I believe I was still in boot camp in Orlando when I got the news clipping from home of the horrible traffic accident that took her away so soon. I doubt the echo of her laughter had completely disappeared from the halls of DMHS. I can still close my eyes and see her face...
