Biography
Wayne P. Dampier, 57, died July 8, 2008 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Dampier was a lifelong resident of Ft. Pierce, Florida.
He was the owner/operator of Dampier Utilities Company for 20 years. He loved salt water fishing, riding motorcycles and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Survivors include his daughter, Koni Allen of New Jersey; son, David Baldwin of St. Petersburg, FL; stepdaughter, Jennifer Jones of Ft. Pierce, FL; stepsons, Joey Jones of Florida and Ricky Jones of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, Luther E. Dampier, Glenn Dampier of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Paul S. Dampier of Fort Pierce, FL.
Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2008 from 9-10 AM with a service to follow at 10:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.

I just found out about Waynes' passing. I am heart sick. He was one of the good guy.. We went to school together from Elementary school through high school... lost contact after high school but I did see him a couple of times in the year 2000 ? not really sure of the year. He told me how he wrecked on his Harley... when he stopped at a RED Light... Forgot to put his feet down... I believe he told me he broke his leg. We talked about old times in elementary, and Jr. high. Then we talked about old times at DMHS.. Lots of memories.... He talked about his children, grandchildren and so on. Wayne will really be missed. My heart is very sad at the news of his passing. God Bless his family, I know he is watching over them all.
